Jordan Belfort's memoir is being adapted for the stage
The Wolf of Wall Street
Jordan Belfort's shocking memoir, The Wolf of Wall Street is to be made into an immersive theatre experience.
The Wolf of Wall Street is due to open at a central London location in September this year. The show is created by the team behind the immersive production of The Great Gatsby, with Alexander Wright adapting and directing the piece. The venue is yet to be announced but the show will run over four storeys and will feature 1990s' New York, trader schemes and supercars. There will be a restaurant, bars and audiences can either trade with Jordan, or work for the FBI.
Belfort's memoir was made into a hit film by Martin Scorsese starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It tells of the highs and lows of Belfort's time as a New York stockbroker in the '90s.
Belfort said: "You've read the book, you've seen the film, now you can experience The Wolf of Wall Street in person. It's going to be the greatest f**king show you've ever seen. Get your fun coupons now."
The show opens in previews from 5 September and is currently booking until 19 January 2020.
