After a critically acclaimed national and international tour, Carlos Acosta’s eclectic Cuban company bring a second programme of ballet and contemporary works to Sadler’s Wells.
This new programme, in which Acosta himself makes a guest appearance, includes Paysage, Soudain, la nuit by visionary Swedish choreographer Pontus Lidberg; the iconic Rooster, choreographed by Christopher Bruce to music by The Rolling Stones; and a new work, Satori, by breakthrough Cuban choreographer Raúl Reinoso.
Inspired by Vaslav Nijinsky’s L’après midi d’un faune, Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui completes the bill with Faun, set to fellow Associate Artist Nitin Sawhney’s interpretation of Debussy’s original composition.
